General Terms of Use

1. Identification and acceptance

These General Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the account and of the Honexa platform, operated by its owner, with contact email info@honexa.es. In compliance with applicable regulations, the owner's full identifying details are available to any interested party who requests them on a justified basis through info@honexa.es.

By registering, the user declares that they have read and accepted these Terms. The purchase of paid products (such as Groups) is additionally governed by their specific terms, and the processing of personal data by the Privacy Policy.

2. Purpose

Honexa is a platform to record padel matches, manage groups and maintain rankings. Creating an account and basic use of the Platform are free, without prejudice to any paid products the user chooses to purchase.

3. Eligibility

To register and use the Platform, the user must be at least 14 years old and provide truthful information. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from their account.

4. Acceptable use

The user undertakes to use the Platform in accordance with the law, these Terms and good faith; not to manipulate results or rankings fraudulently; and to respect other users. Failure to comply may lead to the suspension or cancellation of the account.

5. User content and intellectual property

Through the Platform the user may provide content and, in particular, images (such as their profile photo, a group image or a club logo).

Ownership. The user retains ownership of the content and images they provide. These Terms do not transfer ownership of such content to the owner.
Warranties. The user represents and warrants that they hold the rights or authorisations necessary over the content they upload and that it does not infringe third-party rights —in particular copyright, image or trademark rights— or applicable law.
Licence. The user grants the owner a non-exclusive, royalty-free and limited licence to host, reproduce and display such content on the Platform for the sole purpose of providing the service. This licence ends when the user deletes the content or closes their account, except for backups or retention required to comply with a legal obligation.
Liability. The user is solely responsible for the content they provide and shall hold the owner harmless against any third-party claim arising from content they uploaded in infringement of those parties' rights.
Takedown. The owner may remove or block, without prior notice, any content that infringes third-party rights, is inappropriate or breaches these Terms.
Infringement notices. Any rights holder who believes that content hosted on the Platform infringes their rights may report it to info@honexa.es. The owner will diligently remove the infringing content.

6. Platform intellectual property

The software, brand, logos, design and other elements of the Platform belong to the owner or its licensors. Use of the Platform does not transfer to the user any intellectual or industrial property right over those elements.

7. Account suspension and closure

The user may close their account at any time. The owner may suspend or cancel accounts that breach these Terms. Closing the account terminates the licences granted under section 5, on the terms set out there.

8. Changes to the Terms

The owner may amend these Terms. The version in force will always be the one published on the Platform, stating its update date. Material changes will be communicated to the user.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumer users may resort to alternative consumer dispute resolution mechanisms and, for judicial purposes, the courts that consumer regulations recognise for the consumer user shall have jurisdiction.
